Like I stated in the other post, you don't need to do either.
They SUGGEST a 1" body lift for ease of installation, but it is not needed.
Likewise a custom tranny crossmember is not needed.
You may want to trim the front off the stock tranny crossmember so that the front driveshaft will be able to clear more easily.
