Anyone got an Atlas II currently taking up space ? And willing to let it go ?

Long shot I know. . . My 4.3:1 with 25 spline shaft has “pooped the bed”, and the company that has “Adapters” as part of the company name no longer makes components for it…

Any of the old timers with an Atlas II just sitting out in the yard attached to wrecked or forlorn rig?

Will pay up, thanks for looking.

Oh man that sucks. Is it that they are not supporting our old units anymore because of changes to the new ones?

They quit making the Ranger OD unit as well.

Still working that out - - all signs pointing to tbe fact the AA abandoned all the 25 spline stuff for the newer (15 years ago) 31 spline.

Working . . . Will advise if I make headway tomorrow.

This is one of the reasons I didn't keep pursuing one, and plan to order a behemoth for the Navajo.

I believe @RockRanger still has Paul B's old one out of his Explorer. I don't think he ever put it in his Ranger that I know of. He hasn't been on here in awhile, he just been really busy with life.

Also, do you have a part number for the AA shaft?

I wonder if northwest fab works makes one but doesn't list it on their website?

Steve - Thanks, been following along with Kirby's progress, but his skillset far eclipses mine (based on the work he's done on the Ranger).

Josh - Will definitely be looking them up. . . , thanks for the tip.

Real superstar is Gregg, @gmanpaint who upgraded his Atlas II and kept the old 25 spline shaft, retention ring, etc. to save my bacon. . . He's got a payday coming. . .

Appreciate the input, fellas - - even if I have the tendency on occasion to be a (bit) prick(ly) . . .

Lucky duck. There was a brand new one in southern Utah on Craigslist a few months ago. I was really tempted to use it instead of my behemoth, but this makes me glad I didn’t. I offered the guy $1500 and he declined. He was asking $2k. He had a project to take the running gear from an exploder and put it under a Willy’s wagon and he never got around to it. It was all the shifters and everything. I was kinda kicking myself for not paying up because some guy scooped it up and came and got it. I didn’t really have time to drive out and get it either I have to get my behemoth done already- it just keeps falling to the bottom of the list when I have other crap that takes priority.
