Well, being the first one back, here's the pics.
http://albums.photopoint.com/j/AlbumList?u=1315982

Andre, nice meeting you and your son, sorry you missed the orange. Maybe Sunday.

Kampy and Chilipepper, nice meetin you guys.

Riff, your nuts.

With the exception of waiting on the jeep train, and the range rover clan, it went smooth. Riff has got to be happy with them 35's and Kampy has got to be happy he gets to use his recovery gear whenever Riff is around :D Hope you both get the inside of your trucks dried out before it freezes up.

We need to do it again when its warmer out.

TonyB,,,,met some of your buds but missed you. Hope you got it running in time to play some.

RF2212, who broke your rig? You missed a good time man. Maybe next time.

JJW, I was up there, but couldn't raise anyone on the CB. Ran into Riff near the end of the day, and didn't realize who some of the guys were until we had left (probably didn't help that I was riding in a J**P), but hey, better to tear up his than mine (lol) on my first trip up there. To those of you who I met and didn't realize (Tony, Andre), sorry.

Hope you guys had fun!

This doesn't look good. Who's truck and how did they do it?

View

My guess, freakin' Riff!

You got it. Pigpen in the slop.

I think Kampy got the same treatment from the same watering hole.

RytM1, that place is dense with trees and lots a hills. Those cb's don't always work when your on the trail. And what your ridin in realy don't matter as long as it's safe. Maybe we will hook up next time.

I'm sorry....But y'all suck! Man, I was so pissed that I couldn't go....I'm thinkin everything kinda broke at attica and I never noticed it...and the few times taken around the city by my dad just worsened it....Not to mention, a thanksgiving break from college means to rest right? Well, I went to work on stereo crap and now the lock on the back gate broke too! It's all falling apart! AH! Now I gotta go back and work a few days this week just to help my dwindling funds! Glad to hear ya had a good time though!
Pete

Good time Pete? We had a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seems that every time we get there it gets better and better. This was awsome!! I've never had so much fun wheeling.

I'm glad I stayed two days. Green trail is behind me - entire thing! John, you missed the great one. Sunday was even better then Saturday. I just want to point out here for everybody that on Saturday afternoon we ran first leg of the Green trail, up to the tubes and then on Sunday we finished the rest of it. John, we all got stuck!!!!!! At one point it looked like we were pulling each other from one hole to another. Cool! Lots of mud, plenty of "hairy" moments and lots of memories. My son loved it. After we left he asked me when we are going back to do it all over again.

Tony, how's your ride? is everything OK? Hope to see you there again. Eveybody else that missed it? TOO BAD!!!!

Todd (Anne), Scott, Matt (Katie), John - thanks a bunch! We loved it!! Hope to do it again soon!!!

Pictures comming soon.

WOW!!!!!

damn that was cool....

John, thanx for the promptness of the pictures!!!! those rock man!! i still can't believe that damn hole....the one that left todd and me swimmin with the fishies...

great day of wheelin!!!

and today....(i just got home)...wow that was awesome too!! we finished the green and did the first part again w\ matt...then we were playing in the quarry for a while, and uh....damn...all i gotta say is, im not the nuts one...MATT IS!!!! but i'll let him explain that....

Todd, i really appreaciate the spotting when i was crawling...i wasn't sure where you wanted me to go for a minute...but you got me out, none the less...didja make it home ok w\ no t-case problems?

matt.....regardless of what john says i am.....YOU ARE INSANE!!!!!

Anne...thanx for the pics and puttin up w\ me!! hehe

andre....damn dude...get some bigger meats!!

Jack...sorry we didn't run w\ you guys! Where did ya go after i climbed that hump wall thingy? i was kinda expectin you to come up there and finish off the day w\ us? oh well...good to meet ya!

ok....im tired of typing....if i think of anything else i'll put it on later....

Nuts?

I dunno Scott...I just like to have fun.

Those who where there know about the large puddle in the quarry. Hmmm, yes, well I decided to go through it REALLY REALLY FAST. DOH!! gulp gulp...fizzle. Got some water in the wind pipe and I was dead in the water. No problem, it's a Ford, it started right up and I drove out. That's just the half of it. That first mud pit was the crazy part. I had to go at it about 30 times before I let Todd strap me.

After I power washed, I found a nice LARGE scar on the rear quarter. Ahh, no big deal....can't sweat the small stuff. I took off all the rocker panels. Doesn't look that bad, but then again it's dark out.

That's the Reader's Digest version.

After all is said and done, I had a great time...AGAIN. You guys are a blast to wheel with. Like I told Todd, I liked the "new" green trail much better than the orange. It was a bit chilly, but once we got into the woods it wasn't so bad.

I'll drop my set of pictures tomorrow and hopefully get them up before I leave for THanksgiving. If not you'll have to wait until next week. That's not so bad, we're STILL waiting for Dave's pictures.

Great run guys, check ya on the next one.

Sorry I missed ya Matt. Sounds like the green is the winner here. Thats supposed to be the beginners trail.

So Riff concedes the nuts title ?

How wet is the inside of your rig? COOOLLLLDDDDD!!! water to ? heheheheh

Matt, would you say then that Green trail rocks? What I liked about this time around was that we didn't waste much time walking around debating, we just kept on going. Even jumping over hills and stuff was cool without any special measures and waste of time. It got a bit hairy once or twice but over all, very interesting. Todd, with all your trail experiance, I'm just glad you were around. Matt, I feel good that I wasn't the only one stuck in that big hole. I did more then I ever expected, but heck, that's always the case.

Guys, God is watching over me. Just when I was pulling into my subdivision I heard some noise from the front and a thump! My driver's side wheel bearing gave in. I screwed up when I replaced the other side just before the trip. I know, I know, I should of replaced the damn seal and repacked it but heck, good it didn't happen on the trail!
Back to work tomorrow. Hope to see some more pix soon.

It's great to live in the midwest!

Riff, Thanks for everything, my son can't stop talking about you.

Matt, I hope Katie had a great time.

Ya, when I went in the passenger door was under water and my girlfriend was about to kick my ass. I did get water in the cab, but not NEARLY as much as Chris...er Scott....what ever yer damn name is. Dead Link Removed

So, I now have a name for my rig. Scott gave it to me after the mud puddle fiasco.

JJW, I catch ya next time. The green trail is great, I've done the orange and it is not nearly as "fun". Orange is fun too I guess, but short. Orange is jeep trap after jeep trap, too redundant. The green has a good mix of everything.

Here's my .02, again we had a great time. I think the mud holes in the green trail are as bad as the orange. Riff had to pull me out again but this time he had an ass full to get the job done. Anne took about 200 pics so it will take a couple of days to sort them out and get them up.

No problems with the case on the way home, just a few abnormally flashing lights, which it seems is becoming normal. I guess the computer wasn't designed to be bathed in swamp water. I guess I'll start looking for a manual case. I was a little suprised this morning when it decided to shift into low range all by itself.

Previewed one disc of pics and they look pretty good so check back over the next couple days to find out when we get them up. Good night all I'm whooped!

Andre, really glad to hear Bart-man liked it and wants to go again.

Pete, you gotta stop letting your Mom baja the truck around the speed bumps at the mall.

Matt, the award now belongs to you! You are NUTS!

Okay, y'all suck! I hate it when I have no fun...Well, I got my Optima installed, and I'm workin on the kick panels for my new components....Now I gotta go back to work this week cause I'm so in debt...and influence the parents to let me run Moab...With all you guys that is! Glad to know ya had a blast!
Pete (Still kickin my own ass for breakage of truck)

I had a good time while it lasted :) I killed my truck :) I hit a water hole tad to deep. I talked with the Dealer just now and he said I had a dead battery, starter was hanging by 1 bolt and almost in 2 pieces, and the engine was locked. I had a great time while I was out there. I got a good 5 hours in before I hit the water hole. Sorry I didn't get actucally wheelie with you fellas. Sokie though ill be back out there soon enough. I left the truck out in indiana. He said hes gonna do his best to make ford pay for everything. =D Which will rock. If the guy gets that take car of for me. Then he will be getting a nice tip is all im saying ;)

Tony, glad to hear that. Let's just hope Ford doesn't reject the whole idea. Hope you can go and attack these trails with us soon (next year probably). Everybody, I have submitted my pictures in. Now there are some priorities here that I have to go by and it might be a few days before I complete scanning and downloading them.

Later,

hehe you and me both and hoping ford doesn't reject it. If they do then I pay for it. Easy as that.

matt!! killer pics!!!! but where are yours? you didn't get on your roll at all?

did your lady calm down a little after that puddle (pond) incident? or did you get a new one reamed on the way home?

The pics are wicked! I can't wait to see the rest....Although I couldn't join ya, I'm dealin with a blown power steering pump, steering shaft bearing and housing and broken tail gate lock...Damn it all! I'll be up at 6 tomorrow to drop the rig off to work on the tail gate....hopefully they'll fix it fast...so I can work on my stereo crap...Oh well...Glad y'all had a good time...cant wait for more pics!
Pete

Pete, don't feel bad. My truck is down too. Just when I took the front wheel apart I realized I have more work then I expected. Finally I decided to replace the u-joints some mechanic suggested, wheel and shaft bearings with all the seals. ABS sensor needs to be replaced after I removed it with a hammer. GOOD NEWS! My winch arrived! After measuring it, I will try installing it between frame rails since it will fit. Now I'll be either looking for an original mounting plate or be trying to come up with something creative. Matt! cool pix! I do have my pictures in but have to scan them all. Three rolls and almost all of Scott?!?!?!
blame my son for it guys. Otherwise there are some neat pix of Matt stuck in the hole and Todd as well. John, you're there too. Great pix, can't wait to put them on. I'm preety busy lately so bear with me.

and again, thanks for a great run guys.
