Audio display doesn't display

The audio display in my 2000 EB only seems to work 90% of the time at best. It turns on or off for no apparent reason. No amount of tapping on the sides or dash makes a difference. It can happen when everything is cold or hot. Has any one else had this problem, and if so what is the cure?

Do a search on radio display. You have two method on repairing, one is to get a new power supply board and the other is to fix the existing board. I have done the fix and its been working constantly for over a year.

Its a very common problem with Ford radios. They are a POS.

Your best bet is to replace it with an aftermarket HU.
