Is it true it true that the Audiobahn AW1206Q 12" Flame DVC Sub really puts out 1100watts RMS/2200watts peak?

Yup...I have one. It can handle those watts.

That is amazing! So i guess i would have no problem running 600-750watts to 2 of em huh.

not at all. I am running one with about 350w. You can tell it needs more, but it still sounds good.

i personally dont have one of these subs but i can verify that they are AMAZING! my friend has one with somethin like 1300 watts going to it. i have a JL 12w6v2 with a 500 watt JL amp, and i thought that was really loud.....:D

i have 2 ariving today, ill let you know when i hook them up :D

Audiobahn makes great stuff, I think you will be extremely impressed :)

does it sound good with all of thoes watts

u can never have enough power.. i have 3 alum10qs, which are 800 each.. with a 2400 watt amp.. these are all rms numbers because audiobahn doesnt rate for peak power.. but usually rms is the peak divided by the square root of 2. so that is alot of power. my 10s sound very crisp. yet i think i want to go with some 12s or 15s next time. i need more bass

i have them all hooked up and installed, the only problem is im running them off of an 500 watt amp, but it slams.

I've got 2 1508q's being powered by a PG Tantrum 1200.1 and I'm severly underpowering them. You can really give the 06's and 08's as much power as you want.

audiobahn is good sh*t , amazing sound and power capablities. i have one of the 2000 series 12's with 560watts + going to it and it sounds great....i think my box isn't right but it still sounds good

The subs are awesome, but i have one problem... my subs slam, but when they do... my lights dim, and when lights dim... im sure we all know what that means... its draining too much from the battery, heres my question. What capacitor do i need to run 2 of the aw1206q's? how many of the farad things, or whatever its called

You guys all sucks ass... Now I'm rethinking my sub choice... ARGH... This audiobahn will take all the power that my amp can dish out too... And its cheaper... YOU GUYS SUCK...

i have two 1 farad lightning audio caps. volume decently up doesnt have a problem but when the bass kicks in, the lights dim when at a stop. when im moving.. no problem at all. im looking at the batcaps that supposedly have 200 farads of juice.

Caps are only a temporary fix. If you truely want to keep your electrical system in shape, you need to get a high output alternator. Try www.mralternator.com I think he sells 200 amp ford alts... which should be PLENTY for systems.

the only thing i dont like is that my car battery gets weak when im sitting at a light with my bass up high. when im crusing at any speed from 10-80 mph, my battery has no problems because my alternator is constantly giving power. however, the 200amp alternators that u can get, will probably have a lower recharge rate than the stock ones at idle, but higher output obviously when in motion. so bascially i just need something that will give it power when im stopped for the min or two at a stoplight.

The high amp alternators will put out more amperage at idle than a stock one.

also maybe consider a good battery... I love my optima yellow top... well worth the 180

a one farrad cap will handle up to 1000 watts, so anything more then that u might have to go get another cap, they come in 1/4, 1/2, a full farrad, i don't know the power ratings on the 1/4 and 1/2 but i know they are pretty cheap
