Audioque HDC3 18" box suggestions

so i just picked up an Audioque HDC3 18 and a HIFONICS TXI1508D i have everythign all wired up and ready to go but i need to build a box.. i have tryed using the calculators on other sites and cant seem to figure them out. ideally id like close to an 8cft box. basicly just looking for suggestions and designs. im not a noob to car audio im just trying to rebuild while on unemployment after having my old setup jacked. i am however new to this site and to forums in general so please bare with me.

got the demensions for it? or the sizes to cut the wood to? how many cft is it? i dont want to have to recone it everyweek either

yeah I have the dimensions for it...thats my old setup I designed and built.

Well that enclosure is roughly 6 cubic feet net with 112.5 sq in of port area. Around 9 cubes net IIRC.

I also have an HDC3 12. Is yours aluminum coil or copper? I got the aluminum. I need a box as well. If you got the aluminum coils you are going to want a bigger amp. These are power hungry and the aluminum doesn't shine until it hits around 3k rms.
