For 2017 Explorer XLT - When pressing the auto button to turn it off in climate control nothing happens, when pressing either the physical button or the button on the screen. I have tried on different trips. I have tried turning off climate control and nothing has happened. Am I doing something wrong? I usually keep it on auto anyway I was just curious to see what would happen.

Changing any setting, like manual changing the fan speed, should shut the auto off. I don't think hitting the auto button does anything but turn it on.

I found that if I go into the 'Climate' screen and touch any of the options there to either OFF or ON that it will turn the 'Auto' light off. You cab reset whichever function you used and then go back to the 'Home' screen and the 'Auto' should stay OFF. At least it works on my '17 Platinum. Someone else had posted about the same issue and that is why I checked into it. Mine is usually always on 'Auto'. Not sure if the 2013 works the same way.
