hi got major probs with my autobox ( have only first gear) due to the internal parts of the radiator slitting. Having got the rad prob fix found out a couple of months later that water and autoboxs dont mix. Until this happen my explorer was FAB 110,000 miles with no real probs. Whats the best thing to do, a recon box fitted is going to cost £2000($4000) as much as the car is worth or a second hand box done 60,000 miles for £400($800) but how much would fitting be, Plus cant find anyone to take on the task.

hi thanks for your support think I might have sovled the mechanic prob but its gona cost $1000(£500) plus box. will up date if all works out and total costs.
