Auto lamp mirror ??? manual tranny

I am almost ready to wire in my mirror..

one thing that I have not seen in any thread is how to wire the blk/pnk wire in on a truck with a manual transmission.

Anyone have any knowledge of the endeavor?

Tap it into the wire between the reverse switch (on the transmission) and the reverse lights. I don't have a schematic for your 93 but it is probably the same color code (BK/PK).

This will disable the mirror's autodim feature whenever the trans is in reverse. It can be very helpful at times.
