Auto-Locking doors

Okay here's one that's been bugging me... On my 98 XLT the doors will automatically lock after shifting from park and accelerating. Is there any way to make the doors automatically UNLOCK when I shift to park or turn off the engine?

Nope. The Autolock doesn't do any unlocking.

No, but you can turn off the autolock, the procedure is in the manual.

I don't believe the auto-unlock feature became available until the '05 model year. Sorry.
