1995 ford ranger 4.0 4x4 change auto locking hubs to manual hubs

hi i bought a 1995 ford ranger 4x4 with a 4.0 engine and it's got manual locking hubs on it now. so how do i take and convert them back to auto locking hubs? do i have to take the whole front axle out and change it out or do can i just put the kits back on it and put the autos back on can anyone help me

why would you want to auto suck!!!keep those manuals if not i will take them if you pull them off.this will tell you everything you need to know

keep the manuals, trust me, the auto ones are crap, and break under any off road stress.

oh ok i'll keep them then i have one warn and one road way or something like that and the road way keeps getting me stuck how do i find a other warn lockout that goes to the big spline axle because the small spline won't fit at all

...The small spline hub is for a Dana 28 and not your Ranger...The link that was posted in post #2 holds the answers you seek...

...Your 95 did not have an option of auto hubs...There is also more info to be found in the "How To" in my signature...
