auto locking hubs

i have a 94 explorer and i just fixed my 4x4 in it my auto locking hubs seem to stay locked after i turn my 4x4 off it makes a clunk when i get going about 75k/h any tips for a new guy just geting in to 4x4ing?

with the autolocking hubs, you need to drive backwards for about 25 feet for them to unlock after engaging 4x4

to unlock the hubs you have to drive in revers for a bit till they click
