I have a 1994 Mazda B 4000 LE 4WD (Ranger clone) and a 1994 Explorer XLT; both of which are well maintained, auto trans in both. My pickup is upshifting too quickly through the lower gears. I assume this transmission is electronically controlled. What could be failing parts wise or what can I adjust to change how it shifts. We do not have this problem with the Explorer which has the identical drivetrain. With the A/C running it's even worse. It almost feels like it hits second gear before one wheel revolution. Any help or comments would be appreciated.
