auto trans vacuum modulator leaking?

The engine is sucking trans fluid through the modulator. Is the leak in the external piece on the outside or is there something internal that's allowing fluid to enter the line?

The internal diaphragm is leaking.

X2 time to replace. Make sure you get the push "pin" out with it. The new one will probably not come with a new pin. You must insert the pin in the modulator and then push it into the trans.
