i got my motorcraft plugs from autozone, about $25 for all 6...double plat.
i took my plugs out at about 65,000 miles and i'd say that they were pretty close to shot...several of the electrodes were very far from the required gap.. The truck has never been driven very hard or anything like that..i'd say for max performace change plugs every 55k to 60k
I've glanced under the hood, and it looks pretty tight to change a couple of them on my v8, are there any tricks that y'all have discovered in this endeavor?
BigDaddy, what you cant get from the top, you can get through the wheelwell. Jack it up(let wheel hang), lift up splash flap, and you can even see them. Its not as bad as it looks.
