Automatic Ride Control switch when jacking up

The handbook says to turn the ARC switch off when jacking up the Explorer.
What happens if the Explorer is jacked up with the switch still on? Is there any damage done?
 






There is a stored calibrated zero point for the ride high. This point could be misaligned with tires in the air
and switch on. The ride high sensors should be cliped off too while jacking up. I don't think there would be no mechanical damage,
but savety first.
 






It is not just for jacking the truck up it is mostly for technicians who may have your truck up on a lift. The last thing you want with a truck on a Lift is the suspension to move and airbags inflate… the whole truck could come off the lift and kill someone
