I have a 95 Limited and I want to eliminate the Automatic Ride Control. What's the easiest/safest way to do this?

turn it off from the switch in the rear compartment. Remove the shocks and replace with an after market shock. What condition are your ARC shocks in?

They're shot. The compressor runs but the shocks don't respond.

to bad, if they were functioning I would of bought them. Just replace the air shock with any after market shock. You can leave the air lines and as for the wire coming out of the shock, you can just tape up the ends and leave them hangin somewhere. Rockauto.com sell replacement air shocks for a good price.
