Automatic to Manual T-Case

The 4x4 on my 92 Explorer is not engaging anymore, no clicks or anything and the t-case doesn't engage. I think it might be the swith or the control module. Either way I am thinking of trying to convert to a manual t-case. I searched around and it isn't clear whether or not this is actually possible. Right now I have an AUTO transmission and pushbutton 4x4. Is it possible to switch to a manual t-case with an AUTO tranny. Hopefully someone has a little knowledge in this area. Please help. Thanks.

There should be no problem compleeting this swap, provided you get everything needed to complete it.

Have you done a search on how to fix your current problem? There are several posts that have gone into elaborate on exactly what causes the t-case shift motor to quit and how to fix it.
