Axle and Transfer Case Maintenance

I'm uncertain about Ford maintenance recommendations for changing the front and rear axle lubricants and transfer case fluid. I've got a 2006 with 40K miles and do occasional towing. Considering getting it done. Anybody have any guidance on the schedule for this?

cant hurt, especially if you tow. when you replace it, do it will full synthetic, like something from amsoil.

I always replace transfer case, tranny and diff fluids but thats just me.
The only thing I would recommend is to make sure the shop doing the work is using the correct fluid. If you have any doubts buy it yourself and tell the shop "USE THIS".
