Blackmagic - Did you only run a 16.8 at 83 mph? You have basically every bolt-on and also the most power gained I've seen from an Apten chip, whats up with that time lol?

Our stock 2wd 5.0 Mounty ran 16.1 at 86 mph, with all your mods and especially that chip you should not be running that slow. I would have thought mid 15's easily.

Damn heavy 20's are holding you back, j/k

Was the track prepped well, or is it at a higher altitude? Congrats on the shows though, suprised at the number of Explorers, obviously yours definitley stood out thanks to all the hard work you put in to it.

Yea, I don't know why it ran so slow. It was very hot though. The track was good, can't see why that would hold be back. Who know's 16.4 was the best time at 86 mph. I guess I should have put the stockers back on or something. Oh well, it was a ton of fun!

Hey Black Magic your truck is real clean man i hope to get more done to mine like that but not yet. what kind of Limited Slip did you get for your truck its awesome to see one like i have roast down the back tires. I want to do more to mine but i recently went Autcrossing in Pensicola, FL and man i want to get an Autocross car and use the EX to tow it.

were you braking it up at all and then mashing the gas, or just mashing it from idle? I dropped severl tenths goin from just mashin it to brakin it up to about 2grand and droppin the hammer. The 20s arent good for acceleration with the size and weight. Id like to see a run on stock tires.

Hey black magic, that first mustang that you raced wasnt a 5.0 at all that was a svo, its John Hubber and thats his daily driver was the grey one there? The grey one runs down in the 10s I think, we all know him around here, south county area that is..and that orange looking explorer was at the nopi in atlanta, and they were kinda the same way down there, its like they are too good for us..what did it cost you too run, cause on tuesday nights, they have test and tune street tire class, and you can run for 10 bucks I think or 15 im not sure. so you might wanna come over there on a tuesday night and run again when its cooler outside..cause my ranger with a 3.0 3.73 5 speed, exhaust a underdrive pulley, and mustang injectors ran 16.2s at 88 mphs, and that was spinnin like crazy..
