Well, it's almost winter again, and this morning all of my windows were iced over, which reminded me that only about 5 of the defrost lines on the rear window work, and only provide a small viewing area. I was wondering if there is some aftermarket defrost thing i could replace it with?
Thanks for your help

Most auto stores sell grid line repair kits. Can you see where the grids are seperated? iF you want some really good stuff, look at frostfighter.com, however it's a bit pricey.

You could get a repair kit and fix the breaks in the lines that aren't working. Most of them are simply a paint on type of repair kit if I remember correctly. I have to do it on mine too soon. Cheaper than getting a new window.

It comes in a little bottle like nail polish, you tape up the glass just so you leave only the stripe that you need repaired and "paint" it, not sure on the price, I got just enough at a friend's shop to fix the part I was missing....

Thank you!

Hey thanks guys I figured there might be an easy way to fix this, sounds like something to do this weekend.
Thanks again!
