Back up camera install

Hi installing backup camera on 08 sport track from tailgate cameras. Where can I safely connect my red and green wire that goes to power with key switch in on position. Don't want to probe wrong wire and set off air bags

Most tap into the reverse light power.

Thanks i did that but I also must fins a switched power supply with key switch

If you have an aftermarket radio, you can use the wires on its harness

Thanks don't have aftermarket radio Hoping to fined hot wire with ignition switch on at left front kick panel area where I ran camera harness into vehicle Don't know color codes of wiring for 08 explorer sport track Powered up camera at center console accessory power point but is powered up all the time.

I would suggest to use a relay

your "Remote turn on lead" will be connected to the positive side of your reverse light

you can connect the "12 V+" to a wire that has a constant 12 volts
