Back up sensor when backing up

I have a 2013 Explorer and new to towing. The Explorer came with a factory installed tow package and a back up camera and sensor. I would think the trailer would cause the back up sensors to scream when backing up. Is there a way to disconnect the sensor when pulling a trailer?
Thanks in advance for any help.

My uncle had this issue with his f150, it would beep very loud when backing up his boat

You have two options, you can disable it in the menu which will keep it disabled until you turn off your car, then it'll reset

Or

Just hit the odometer reset button once while backing up and it will stop

My Mountaineer has the same thing. When I put in reverse, the instrument cluster automatically changes to the screen which let's you disable the backup sensors. The "reset" button for me is right above the gear selector. When it starts beeping, I don't eve have to look to hit the reset button with my index finger.

However, I think your newer tow-package equipped Explorer has "Trailer Sway Control", which is simply some logic built into the Stability Control system. That said, it may be smart enough to recognize that when a trailer is attached, the backup sensors may already be deactivated, or at least recalibrated (?).
