Bad Paint!!

What do you mean by inside part? I am not sure to where you are referring.

From the picture I remember, it was just superior to the point where the side mirror met the A-pillar part in question.

All I could find was the post below. I thought their was another but I may be mistaken. Assumed he was talking about inside cabin.

Picked up beginning of februray, just over 3500 miles.

a few issues that will be looked at tomorrow
front pillar rattle,
rear hatch alignment
speakers pop when ignition is turned on.
no issues with mft v2.4, with iphone 4,
the black vinyl on the drivers door pillar is peeling off.
and a clunk when stopping

Also did they change the part to a painted part, or is it still just a laminated piece of plastic?

I will scrape some of it off, it looks like paint. At least that's exactly what paint does when it goes bad, so I would be surprised if it wasn't. If the new parts have a different finish though I'm going to have them replace all of them, no way I'll drive around with different looking trim.

This is off topic, but are they not making Tuxedo Black anymore? I saw a 12 limited when I was at the dealer and it was just plain old black. Fine with me, I like rare things!

Tuxedo Black is a metallic black, this new black is non-metallic plain gloss black.
