Hi, my name is Ron and I am looking forward to the useful information I will get from this forum.
This problem may have been discussed before but here goes.
I own an 2003 ford explorer eddie bauer and recently while driving the "O/D off light started flashing. Engine code p0704 which lists many alternate issues. My trans seems fine, no slipping that I notice, shifts smoothly, etc. I took it to a shop for diagnosis and was told that the torque converter was the problem and I need to have the trans rebuilt. Does this sound right? If so, what can I expect this to cost. Any help would be deeply appreciated.
