Baja 2000-The Race Of Ages ** Will U Be There?

It's a fact that I'm not going to miss this race. If anyone would feel more comfortable going together in a
small group, pitching some tents near the race course, and watching those Trophy Trucks race by, I'll be there.
Let me know if any of you would like to travel along, in a FORD sort of way...

Questions?

Okay Ken, to us truck guys that aren't huge Baja fans like you seem to be, we have some questions. Where? When? Let us know, is this the same time we're planning our explore baja run, or something different?

When? Saturday and Sunday -- November 11th and 12th
Where? -- My vantage point will be close to Ensenada.
How much? 1 tank of gas from San Ysidro, I'll fill the tank once I return to the U.S., or I'll stick a few gallons
of Pemex in my truck in Ensenada if I do much more driving than expected. My fiancee will probably travel with me since she likes to watch the races too. If you're married
or have a girlfriend, you could coax her into coming along
by telling her that there will be another female there who won't be talking about FORD trucks all day!! Although, Suz
drives a built Jeep YJ as her daily driver.

Ken, I have to work that sunday. I would love to bring my boys and follow you down there on saturday though. They would love the trucks. My wife has to work. Let me know, thanx.

No problem. The race begins on Sunday morning, but all of the pre-race festivities (including the vehicle inspection)
will take place on Saturday. Thats the day I want to buy all of my commemorative Baja T-shirts. This stuff will be
collectors items, because this is the only year that the teams will race all of the way back up to Ensenada once they
reach Cabo.

I'll be attending only the day of the race, (Sunday) so if anyone would like to meet up before crossing the border (at 5 a.m.)
get back with me. The Trophy Trucks leave the starting line at 7 a.m. I'd be glad to lead a group down to Ensenada for the day.
