There are different ball sizes, yes. If you use your bumper I would expect it is a smaller size..

i needed to know what size the hole was in the bumper. not the ball size. thanks skan. i will only be towing a 4 wheeler or a motorcycle on a utility trailer

I wouldn't tow from the bumper; get a good hitch.

Get a class III hitch, this greatly opens up your towing posibilities, with that you're only limited by the engine.

to answer the ? it show be a 2" ball most of them are. But again to second the hitch instead of bumper.
