My truck is a 4x2, I was told that the squeaking noises when driving and making turns is because my control arm needs to be replaced.

I bought new ball joints/control arms last winter and it cost me about 80$ shipped off ebay (I needed it fast and cheap). They were fairly easy to replace and I recommend renting a puller/seater for the ball joints at an auto parts store.
