BF Goodrich rates them for 7.5"-9.0". Discount Tire didn't have any problems mounting them and they seem fine. I've gotten somewhat aggressive with them on the street and haven't had any problems. The one thing I do like about them is they ride a lot more comfortable than my 265 75R16 Michelin LTX ATs (load range C) even though they are a load range D. I don't know if it is because my Michelin's had 50K on them (still had about 1/4" of tread left) or if it is because of more air volume in the tires. Whatever the case, they ride very nice.

Each time I went up in tire sizes, my speedometer was off by 5% until I put in a new speedometer gear with 1 less tooth which corrected my speedometer. Right now my speedometer is off by 1.6% since there is no such thing as a speedometer gear with 18.3 teeth (had to settle on 18). My stock speedometer gear was 20 teeth. If I would have left it in, my speedometer would be reading about 10% too low. I went from 30" to 32" to 33".

Robert, I think I found your thread, but this was the only speedo gear info in it. If I went down to Ford and asked for the speedometer gear to accomodate larger tires would they know what I'm talking about? How easy an install is it? And what's the cost look like?

(Sorry about the barage of questions, but inquiring minds want to know :) )
