After towing the explorer for 5 hours the battery is drained so much it will not start the car. I have temporarily put a knife switch on the negative post of the battery, This keeps the battery from draining while towing. Is there a better way
to handle this situation. I was wondering if there is a fuse that could be pulled instead. Other than resetting the radio and turning the AC back on is there any additional problems that could affect the car while being completly disconnected while towing.:usa:

Somebody else posted this same thing last year while flat towing. Do a search.. not sure if there was a solution.

Welcome to the forums!

I assume you are flat towing the Ex. If you are, here is a THREAD that talks about that.

Get familiar with the search tool on this forum and it will be your friend, and save you a lot of time too :)
