Battery light randomly turns on

Hi everyone I’m new to this forum but I need some opinions. I just bought a very pristine 2007 explorer Eddie Bauer edition a couple of weeks ago. The car runs amazing and I just got it back from the shop from getting an oil change and transmission service. The mechanic also put new battery terminals on (That’s originally why I thought the light was turning on) and it has a new battery in it. Anyway, the light will randomly turn on when I’m driving and turn off after about 3 minutes. What could be causing this because other than that the car runs great and doesn’t do anything weird when the light turns on.

When my alternator was nearing the end of its life, the battery light occasionally would appear, and then go away...repeat and rinse.

Could also be slipping belt or harmonic balancer.
