battery removal?

Can someone try to explain how the heck to remove the battery from my 1994 explorer limited? It is different from my 1992, and I can't figure it out.

Welcome to this forum! Did you remove the battery hold down on the bottom? It has one bolt holding it.

i figured it out. The heat shield is what was throwing me off. My other explorer didn't have one. THanks for the reply.

tip: put some oil/ wd-40 on that one battery hold down bolt, you wont regret it lol, i ditched that battery cover too lol
