BDS Suspension 83-97 Ranger 6" kit on My '91 EX!!!

I'm just about finished. I just need to bolt on the rear axle. I took off the new gasket since it was leaking all over the driveway after only 24 hours and I put on some rtv instead.

I personally think my truck now looks really funny with only 30"? tires and 6" of lift. I'll get some 35's soon.

I'll put up some pics soon.

Shocks is all that is left to do. And reconnect the rear brake line.

Turns out they gave me the wrong shocks. The front shocks are just a hair too short. The spring could not even stretch out all the way. The rear shocks were too long. The truck just rested on the shocks.

Yes, I did make sure that I was putting the shocks in the right place.

Now that you need to get 4 new shocks may I suggest you actually flex the suspension and measure for them? an RTI ramp works perfect for this.
You measure the full compression and full droop at all 4 corners then go to the shock book and fins shocks that will allow the full travel without being pulled apart.

J hooks on the coil springs or limit straps will set the droop without allowing the coil to come unseated ( no fun when it happens off road).

yep. I have now ramp, But I do have two jacks. I jacked up my truck from opposite corners under the axles, got my brothers to come out and put their weight on the bumpers, and measured the short and long lengths of the shocks. I had previously talked to a few of the guys over at four wheel parts and they told me that the shocks they had suggested for me would surely work. I will definitely measure nest time.

where are the pictures!
