Lissee. I joined forever ago but never posted until the other day. I've reccomended this site on my own forum along with a link to "The Hootus link". (Inyernet legend and all ya know.) Yet never posted.

NOW, I am seriously considering an Explorer. It might be as far as a few years away but I think we'll be looking at a 2003 with 4.6. (GOTTA have the V8!!) LOL.

Okay, 43 years old. Father of 3 wee little girls, Emily 7, Madeleine 5 (Gonna be 6 on Friday), and Olivia Rose 4. I work for a Ford dealer (parts driver) and have been off for the past year because of Congestive Heart Failure which the Dr's figure was started by a virus. The GOOD news is apparently an ultrasound last week showed the right side has HEALED!! YAY!! (I miss work sooo much!! I am one of those rare people who LOVES his job!!) but enough of the negative.....

I'm Canadian, and have my own forum for "carguys" and it's been a lot of my recovery time. I am addicted to EVERYTHING automotive except for retarded stuff like DUBs, lambo doors and DONKS!! (gag, puke, choke,..)

I am also addicted to what my 4 years old calls "Daddy's car games", yup, video games. LOL. So, I guess that pretty much covers it.

Oh, and if you haven't figured it out yet, I'm a Fordguy!!

Welcome to the forum, as a father of 2 girls (7 and 8) I know where your at on the family front (sweet as can be some days, estrogen overload others). Sorry to here about the viral heart problems, glad to hear your recovering. I cannot imaging what it would be like to be away from work for a long time like that. As guys we are programmed to provide for our families, it must be tough. It's great that you have an outlet with the internet and cars to keep those creative juices flowing!! Good luck on the search for a great vehicle sounds like you've made a good choice, although I have owned nothing but fords since the age of 17, so I guess I am a bit biased as well.

I hope your illness didn't keep you from enjoying your family, your girls are at the age where it is so important to have quality time with their dad, little girls are such a wonderful gift from God! I'm just trying not to screw mine up too bad

BTW... loving the bus on your website, that's what I would have loved to ride to school!!!
