first you have to determine what type of wheeling your going to be doing. you wont want a Dana 30 for anything over a 35" tire. move up to a 44. my own original plan was going to run a built 30 with 36's. but the more i thought about it the more i wanted a 44 so im using a wagoneer front axle and leafs instead of the long arms and coils originally planed for. your going to need steering box. misc metal to make brackets and such and depending on if you go with leafs or springs your going to need lift spring/coils or 4 link arms. and some minor other things.

I thought that the 95+ did need them?

95+ will need a completely new steering system, so yes you will need a new steering box. A D30 will have a hard time deaing with 36s, you're going to want a dana44 but there will be those who will debate me. Honestly if you don't know what a solid front axle will do for you, you dont need one. A solid axle swap is an expensive, time consuming process. You need to be able to wrench, weld, fabricate, and design a suspension system. Or you can pay big bucks for someone to do it for you.
