Benefits of Wax

Alrighty.... I am kind of in a complex situation with an enemy of mine. My car is always parked underneath a video camera and well this Saturday night it will not be and the guy knows where I am going. I am kind of expecting to come out and see my car messed up... Now before I go with the flour on the ground trick and such. I was wondering...

Now I know a certain amount of wax can protect you from many things. I have gotten a whole line of road paint on my car and all I had to do was wash it off with a hose and a little bit of soap. If I put on like 4 coats of wax or so can this protect me from things like ketchup, mustard, eggs, etc...(you guys know what destroys your paint) I plan to frequently check up on the car over the hours I am there and to take pictures but I still would prefer to have my car come out in good condition.

Any suggestions/comments or whatever is appreciated.

Id love to do all that making up biz but he is on a total different level of being a jerk (if this wasnt on the forum i have so many better adjectives to describe him) Paranoia maybe, but I over heard him talking about doing something so... I feel like I should at least be a little prepared. Can't rent a car.. not 25.

Thanks for the suggestions so far... still need an answer about the wax. Even if it minimizes the damage done than thats good. Basically I want to know if spending my time doing that is worth it.

EDIT: Just so you guys know... I havent done anything to this guy... he is very childish as you probably already could tell. So now that you know I am not a bad person whos encouraging him to do all this.

I say we do a steak out and when the guys comes jump outa a van or something and destroy his car. Even better build a glass box around your truck so it cant get messed up. Just think about it.

I am sure waxing would do some good in protection...but no car product has been exactly tested for "condiments"; usually just contaminants. Good luck

Adam.... there is no story really behind this. Guy used to be my friend and I realized he sucked and that he was probably homosexual so I told him to lighten up on people because he is a jerk all the time. The man freaked out on me, basically... Anyways I didnt do anything to him that is even close to the severity of his little "prank". He is probably going to stop in not too long when he and his friends realize how childish and lame he is being. I am just being patient and careful for now and the moment he does something that is damaging in any way hes going to be in some trouble.
