I nailed a curb and bent one of my front wheels. Its not a bad dent by any means, a section of the rim where the bead of the tire hooks on to is bent less than 1/4 inch in, and the entire dent from start to finish is maybe 5 inches long, probably less. The dent doesnt go towards the center of the rim, its more like it was pushed towards the center of the truck, as if hitting a curb ;)

The car shakes like hell, and on the freeway its scary. I'm leaving for the army in a week, but in the meantime i have a lot of driving i need to do.. Any ideas?

ALso, i looked at the lugnuts while driving slow to try and see if the axel might have been bent. The lugnuts never wobbled so im sure its jst the dented wheel.

if its an alloy wheel, you are SOL... put the spare on, and hope its the same size

Its not alloy. At least i dont think so. Its the stock wheel , the one with the three big 'spokes'. As for the spare, its a real spare, not a real tire, and its smaller then the 31s i have on there now.

this is the rim:

take the rim to a shop, they can probably fix it partially... the rim is stell... its pretty much screwed if its off a horrible amount of balance, but they might be able to fix it a little bit, rebalance, and mount it on the rear... if the spare rim is the same, swap the 31 onto it and use the bent rim as the spare rim

Took it to the local tire place. They pulled the dent out of the rims edge and rebalanced the wheel, but it looks like overalll the rim is still bent a bit. The tire wobbles, but it doesnt shake the truck nearly as bad, and is useable on the freeway now. Not too bad for $15
