If I had any projectors left, I would cut the stock headlights that I have sitting around to give you a template. I don't think they fit that well through a stock 9004 hole..... I'm almost certain you have to clearance them a bit. But I might be wrong, it has been a while since I have done any.

Personally, I am not even bothering with HID anymore. I'm holding out until one can do good LED retrofits.

Hi JD, Thanks for your inquiry and for your patience waiting on a reply over the weekend. The Morimoto Mini will fit through the existing hole in the back of your 9004 reflector bucket, no need to do any cutting there. As long as you have about 4.25" of depth within the housing (bulb holder to the backside of the front lens cover) you should be good to go with these.

On the ballasts/HID's - we really do not recommend running them with a 55w HID kit as it will likely harm the longevity of the setup by burning out the chrome earlier, but regardless we do still have plenty of customers out there doing it. You would just need a set of H1 bulbs to work w/ the projectors, but those will be compatible w/ your ballasts still.

Why dont you do it first and ill help you.i cant really afford to do it now but would love to see how they look and go in.

i cant afford it either. not with me eyeballing a rear axle to buy!
i would need to get the whole thing, ballasts, hids, projectors. all you need is the projectors!

I think I'm going to order them.im getting the morimotos d2s,the d2s five5 50watt 6000k bulb, gatling gun shroud,angle eyes and amp to d2s wire.should be about $250 shipped. Guess my EB springs will have to wait another 2weeks

five5 50watt? lol for our trucks, im thinking 'angel eyes' may not look that great..... havent really seen one but in my head it seems weird.

yea i got rear axle, $2000 tranny, aux coolers/filters for $200, front lift on my mind right now. now youre getting more ideas in my head!

Pick up a set of 50W bulbs, it'll last longer then overboosting a 35W

Theres only like 2 true 50W D2S bulbs out there, so they aren't hard to find

I really like that gattling gun shroud! Me thinks I may open my projector housing and install them- but do they fit e46's? (BMW projectors)
