97' Explorer Sport XLT
Hey guys,
I'm new to this site and wanted to make my first post. I have a 97 Explorer Sport XLT, with the 4.0 SOHC. I wanted you guys to tell me waht you thought the best intake for the money was, providing the best performance gains.
Also, i am looking into adding a new exhaust. I really want to get at a dual exhaust system, but have only found single. Maybe someone could tell me what they used, or their setup.

Thank,
Jeff

The KKM is good. It is just a filter and adapter. It's all you need. www.kustomz.com

Welcome to the site!!! :)

The MAC intake from Explorer Express is by far the most
grorgous intake I have ever seen.

I have the MAC and love it, I only bought it because I wanted to have some chrome under the hood. The KKM will give about the same increase, and is about half the price.

Here is the MAC:

This one isn't for your application, but they have one for you. www.explorerexpress.com

I use the KKM...It's just a S&M racing filter with the adapter, but if you don't care about the chrome, it works jsut as good. I got almost 1 1/2 more MPG in the city with it when I had the stock tires on it.
