Hi there. I have just joined the forum and this is my first post. I am an enthusiast of explorers, and more broadly I love ford vehicles. I have just purchased a Sportrac and am probably going to begin modifying it during the spring months. I have a few questions maybe you guys can help me with:
#1. I am looking for the best exhaust system made for the sportrac. Any suggestions?
#2. I am either going to run a custom twin turbo setup, or a Super charger. Any suggestions here?
#3. I am going to add various other parts like a mod chip, TBspacers, biggest alternator possible (for stereo/lights) etc. Again suggestions please.
#4. Big brakes will be required. Baer or Brembo?
#5. Suggestions on a lift? I am doing 35 inch tires on beadlocks.
As far as the engine mods are concerned I am looking for high torque at lower RPMS. I want this thing to accelerate. Oh and the plate is custom too...
