Better seats 2002 style or 1998?

A question for anyone that has sat in the newer X leather seats and the 2nd gen(1998) leather seats (XLT).

Which are more comfortable on long trips?

Same?

the 2002 look more comfterable i dont like my seats now cause there is no headrest and you could easily get whiplash

The cloth seats in my 96 (should be the same as the 98) are about the most comfortable seats I have ever had in a vehicle. The leather 2002's I sat in feel much flatter and harder to me.

Well i like the basic ones in my 95 that are cloth but I hate the ones in my moms 2000 because of the firmness and I HATE lumbar support
