Does anyone have any recomendations or comparisons for BFG A/T's and the General Grabbers? Any comparisons for handling on and off road as well as prices for the General Grabbers? I want to stay with the stock 235 75 R15's.

Thanks

Brian,
Let me welcome you to this site! It is awsome, and by far the bast on the web!!!
On my last truck I had Generals, it was an import NI***N. Well I baught my new truck 93' Explorer and I knew it needed tires by winter time. Well I have replaced them and I am very happy with the grip on the road, and off road. A tiny bit of a humm at high speeds ~75mph but not bad at all. The generals are cheaper but you get what you pay for. Two side notes, you may get like 1 mpg less with the BFG at's but they will last you well over 40,000 as long as you rotate them!
Thats my opnion and what I run. I will run BFG's untill my truck stops.

Hi Brian,
First of all, Welcome! Dead Link Removed and a special Bienvanidos from a former Albuquerque Boy. Dead Link Removed I can't help you on the Generals, But I do know about the BGF's, and simply put, THEY ARE GREAT!!! I have 60K on mine and still have decient tread. I commute 160 miles a day, and they are easy on the ears. I go 4wheelin' as much as I can and they just keep going. I had Firestones on one explore and Goodyears on another, Hated the Firestones, The Goodyears were much, much better, but the BFG's are Great.
