The AT KOs (32") I bought recently are noisier than the old BFG AT and Bridgestone Dueler AT I had. Does anyone else feel the same way or is it just my imagination?

At speed of 75+ MPH, it has a definite drone/hum to it.

Other than that, it's a killer tire, tracks very well, and strange but it's more comfortable than the old Bridgestone Dueller AT.

I've noticed that, too. The noise is not bad or anyting, but it is there. As they wear down a little, they seem to get louder. I have over 15000 miles on my "new" KO's, the old AT's that got swapped to the Jeep and have close to 40000 miles. The KO's rule on the street and in the dunes and still manage to do pretty good in mud. The hum is the only bad feature, but I don't even notice it much anymore.

Well guess what, forget my earlier post about noise. It turned out that my right rotor and bearings were shot. After replacing the rotor, bearings, and oil/grease seal, no more tire noise but the wind noise.

I tore it out and it was a mess. The race was spinning inside the rotor, the bearings got chewed, and I think it was caused by a defective oil/grease seal. It must have let sand, small debris get into the bearings/rotors.

Anyway, the KO's were great in the rain, snow, and mud. I experienced it all this past weekend skiing. I felt so sure footed driving in the snow.
