Hello. I did a search, and went to the BFGoodrich webpage, but could not fingd the info I am looking for. I am wondering what the factory reccomendations for the rim size for BFGoodrich 32' AT KO tires are. Any help would be gladly appreciated. I heard somewhere the factory reccomends rims at last inches wide.

asterus, the recomended mininum wheel width for a 32x11.5 is 8". I have been to BFG's web site a few times and have found the recomended wheel widths. I have it saved on a disc.

can use an 8" or 10" wheel

it's your choice really.....but on an X...you better stick with 15"x8" wheels to avoid any clearance probs. those will look wide as it is. I had a truck with 32x11.50's.....my original rims were 15"x8"....but later i swapped them to some 15"x10"rims. it was a big truck...so the wider rim gave the tire a fatter look. Original X rims are 15"x7" if im not mistaken. 15x8's will give an X a beefier appearance.

I've got them on my ranger with a 8" rim. My explorer has 10" rims. 10" will make the tires look more rectangular and expose the sidewall more. No problems with either, but I prefer the 8".

Ok. I guess if I got new tires, I would also have to get new rims for them. Bummer. Right now I have the explorer 15x7 rims that came with it stock. Does anyone know if there are any aftermarket rims that are inexpensive and look like the stock exploer rims, but are 8" across for the tires to fit.

Your tires will fit fine with your stock rims.

Some shops may not mount them but just keep looking.

Thanks. I am just worries about my wheels being too thin and the tires coming off while driving. I am also wondering f with a 3 inch body lift, if there will be any rubbing of a 32 tire on anything, like will there be any rubbing at all, because I don't want that. I end up turning the wheel all the way alot when I drive, especially coming out of my house or the fire house to get to a call. I am willing to buy spacers if needed.

I think RangerX or one of the other ranger guys ran 32s on 7" rims with no problem.
Do a search for SSIKORA he has 32,s with I belive a 2" body lift and some TT with shackles He did say they rub some. Good luck

I'm runnin 11.50" wide Swampers on my stock 7" rims no problem. I did notice a little rub on the inside when at full lock but that will be resolved when I get my new rims this week.
