BFG TracEdge??? Anybody w/ commetns, experiences

I am getting very close to purchasing my new tires -- and ridding myself of the HT's my '97 came with when I got it.

I am between BFG ATko's, MT's, and TracEdge ... I am leanging toward waiting a short time for the "new" MT's (anybody know when they'll be available), but was wondering about the TracEdge's.

Anyone with experiences, commetns please let me know ... I use my truck, 'round-town, highway, and Everglades Mud.

Track edges did well.

Personally, I don't like the track edge too much, don't ask me why. But I observed a Defender 90 though this week-end with track edges, and he did VERY well in the mud, absolutely equal to the guys with MTs. The driver also confirmed me, that the track edge is great in the wet and on snow. Anyhow, I will stick to my MTs.

FYI: the new BFG MT is due out NEXT YEAR sometime. I can't remember exactely but I think is was supposed to be around early summer.

If you are running mud the MT is the only way to go. In the mud I run, there is a world of difference.
