oh, dude. i looked at 'em all right. it just took a while to wipe the drool out of my keyboard so i could post a reply saying that i cant afford 'em. those prob. cost more than the charger/cam/header/MAS/roller rocker/head porting/programmer job i have planned for this summer.:D

the big dog breaks are not that bad we could get a better price like 1400 dollars if we could get like more then 15 people to buy them but until then they are at a price obove 4500 because each one is kinda of a one off at this point. they are amazing though.

Dude you should see the brakes on my 2002 BMW 745i, they are 18".... All I can say is enormous.

You mean the rims are 18"

my bad here is the info I'm reading from the owner's booklet:

Rims:19"
Front Tires: 245/45/19
Rear Tires: 275/40/19
Brakes: 13.6" front, 13.7" rear....

Hmmm I don't know why the number 18 kept popping in my head when i saw the post. Anyways, those brakes are probably bigger than the ones on my beamer.

those are some serious stock breaks but i am shure they are not brembo rotors and calipers. i do know they do us a high qaulity parts though besides that car can do over 150 not to say troll could not do that but not as safe. beside at the price of these new breaks we would have got them years ago. i cant wait to test them out. do you guys think the other fourm section might want to see pics as well.

Ya I have heard nothing but badass things about brembo. I know a kid who has a 97 LT1 ZR28 Camaro all souped up, something like over 500 RWHP. Anyways, he has some phat brembo brakes.

I'm down with the 13.5 rotors!!!

Saleen won't release the info on who made thier brake kits (although it's obvious that it was Alcon - and they won't sell direct.)

I'm trying to fab a Cobra "R" 13" PBR set up on my X right now - but I have to convert to 2-piece hubs and rotors. That's why I went nuts when I saw the pic of the one piece rotor and e-mailed Bill.

BTW - Baer told me that I could use the stock master cylinder on the cobra 2-piston calipers so long as it was 15/16" or larger. I'd love to see how you integrated the ABS ring....

nice brakes. looks like plenty of stopping power.

If you want 13" front brakes, Explorer Express sells a kit that uses Cobra calipers and 13" rotors. It is not in the catalog, you have to call them and ask about it. If i remember correctly they cost @ $1400.00 or so. They will also tell you that they got almost the same preformance out of powerslot rotors and high preformance pads as when they used the 13"s. But the 13"s just look so wicked, i am currently saving for the kit.:fire:

Really??

The last time I spoke with the Vanek Bros. they said the kit was "in development" and were not sure if they were going to release it.

Thanx for the info, I'm calling tomorrow!

Here they are on the TROLL:

Very nice...I may have to sell my soul and get me some of those. How do you like the performance of them so far?

They are awsome!! It stops like a fighter jet on a aircraft carrier now. I am super happy with the brakes performance.

i think they are amazing and are a great mod defintly a jaw dropper.
