So i know this is in here somewhere but can't seem to find it tonight. What is the biggest i can go up front with out throwing my ball joints into some crazy jam? I think i had seen where the 3" was posing problems but just wanted to check for sure. Any help will be appreciated. Also, in the rear too. THanks

2.5 is recommended for the max lift for the front the rear you can also do 2.5s but to level it a 2.5/2 combo will do it

if you want a stock ride and less stress then throw on a body lift instead of the rb spacers. or put a 2.5/2 rb spacer with the body lift then some 33s

I'm running a 3" BL and 2.25" front spacers (1.75" rear) and my truck sits level and the front ball joints aren't over-stressed. With the 33's (285/75) you really don't need to go any higher, but yes you could do 2.5" up front.

potroasts truck looks sick i would do the 2.25/1.75 and the body lift. really a clean setup and 33s look clean

awesome thanks guys for the input. I really appreciate it.

ryno_rx8 this is 2.25 front 1.75 back and 3 inch body lift and 33's looks like.

thepotroast they do look good!

Yours looks great too, I'm glad to see another X with the same lift combo on here. I went back and forth with Ben on the size of the spacers...and the 2.25"/1.75" seemed to be perfect, and I'm glad I didn't go any lower or any higher.

Also does well off road that combo next spring lockers.I have had this X for only 5 weeks
last one transfer case crap out lol.

Both of those look great. my explorer is jealous lol. So Macknos, How did you manage to run the 3" up front and everything still turn out ok?? Also, potroast and bigone, do either of you guys have a pic of the rear bumper bracket that had to be made for the body lift? I was glancing through the forum on the how to on the body lift and saw that was the only fabbing so to speak that had to be done.

Also, postroast, your how to on the ball joint replacement saved a lot of grief and money. Thanks. If you guys need any help or quotes on pricing, I am General Manager for Advance Auto Parts. I can get some info for you guys on misc. items.

i had to have upper a-arms built for my truck just so it removed the stress on the ball joints. now i have uni-balls in place of my ball joints. it was an extra 550 bucksi didn't plan on spending but better safe then sorry.

i left my hitch right where it was. it didn't really bother me and it will give me a place to bolt a swing out spare tire/ high lift jack holder.
i believe bigone flipped his hitch upside down but i could be wrong. potroast left his hitch alone also
