billet gas cap

hi everyone. has anybody found a place online that sells billet fuel doors for a 98 explorer? you know, like the ones that came on the bullet mustangs. the only thing i have seen is on ebay, and they are just crappy stickers. thanks.

I know the 3rd gen Explorers can use the mustangs fuel doors, not sure about the 2nd gen's though, worth checking into. Good luck

I've got an OEM Mustang Bullitt door on my '99 Eddie Bauer. I scored it from eBay, 2nd hand. They're the same size as an Explorer door, but require a bit of tweaking to make them fit. Search harder on eBay. When I scored mine, there were quite a few of them. Lots of non-OEM models too.

This is a shot of one on my old '00 Sport. I have the same one on my Eddie now, but polished it (sort of a paint to do, but looks cool). The OEM finish is brushed.
