took me awhile, but i finally got it

this is another e-bay grill. i wanted a nondrill grille with many rods, so this one was perfect for me. i can't believe i was able to do it myself, what a PITA!

Kelli :D

ps, thanks Doug for moral support!

good work... time for clear corners and removing the 'Bugflector II' for a nice clean front end?

i already have clear corner markers and i like the bug shield, you can barely see it because it blends in nicely with the black truck. what she really needs now is a bath.

Kelli

ps, thanks for all the compliments guys! ;)

Looks good but I don't think the picture is big enough. ;) :p

no no no, you got me all wrong. i love mine too, i wouldnt own another vehicle with out one. what i was saying was delete the bugflector ii decal, its a subtle difference, but one i think is worth it.

Looks good....kinda familiar too.

looks great! is that brushed or polished finish like mine?

i don't think i could get that bugmaster thingy off, but i will definiatly look into that, it is a great idea, thanks;)

thanks Brandon, you were my inspiration ;) :D

sorry i don't know how to size pictures:( i would make it smaller if i knew how

i think it is brushed

i belive i used gasoline to rub it off. one of my friends did it in the summer with a lot of sitting in the sun, he just peeled it off [along with his pin stripes]. im sure a heat gun would work better. i dont have any pics of how it turned out, after my accident the shop put a ford one on, which i like much better... good luck

Looks good, glad to see you where able to accomplish it with out any bloodshed. :)

thanks for the link, i actually have that installed, but i can't figure out how to make the pictures smaller :(

thanks for all the compliments, only Doug truely knows how frustrated i was! thanks for hearing me;)

i also tried to take off that sticker last night, i looks like it isn't a sticker at all...looks as if it was part of the shield, but it was at night, i have to see again today once i pick it up from the dealer/she is getting her recalls done

when a guy puts an ebay grille on his X, 1/2 say it looks great, 1/2 say it looks cheap. when a gal puts and ebay grille on, 100% say it not only looks amazing but they want to marry her also:rolleyes: :p guess it pays to be a hot chick with an X.

and kelli, it does look great. you should pick-up the matching bumper billet too. thats a real easy install.
