Sure would appreciate comments from folks who have put Bilsteins on their stock 91-94 Explorers. I am considering a set for my 93. I use it around town and on the highway mostly and for towing a light travel trailer. How do you feel about the overall ride quality on your stock Explorer compared to other shocks you have owned? Thanks Mike

I have them on my Ranger. The best shocks I've had. I've had other brands but these are by far the best.

I've had them on my 92 sport for about 3 years now. The stock sport suspension is too soft IMO...the Bilsteins help to stiffen it up a bit. I don't think it is a miracle product for the Explorer's suspension, but it is a decent upgrade. Good quality shock absorber, but a bit overpriced. Buy them if you have the cash to throw around.

if you think about ti they are gaurenteed for 100,000 miles......most others last me about 20-30,000 miles so....you buy one pair of bilsteins...r you buy 3 pair of monroes....
